ColoHealth™
A non-invasive blood test that can detect a DNA biomarker known as
methylated Septin 9 DNA that is linked to colorectal cancer.

What is ColoHealth™?
It is an FDA-approved blood test and provides an option for adults aged 50 and older at average risk for colon cancer and has declined other tests, such as colonoscopies and fecal-based tests. If the test result is positive, a follow-up colonoscopy is needed for confirmation.
Why Get a ColoHealth™ Test?
- Convenience: A simple blood draw during a routine medical visit—no special preparation, dietary restrictions, or stool collection required.
- Non-Invasive: Unlike traditional methods, ColoHealth™ offers a comfortable, minimally invasive way to screen for colorectal cancer.
- Accessible: Perfect for patients who decline other screening methods but want to participate in colon cancer detection.
Who Should Consider a ColoHealth™ Test?
ColoHealth™ is recommended for adults aged 50 and older at average risk for colorectal cancer who have declined guideline-recommended screening methods, such as colonoscopy or stool-based tests.
However, some factors may make ColoHealth™ unsuitable or necessitate alternative screening:
- Elevated Risk: A personal or family history of colorectal cancer, polyps, or conditions like Crohn’s disease or Lynch syndrome.
- Lifestyle Factors: A history of unhealthy dietary habits or low physical activity.
- Age and Symptoms: Discuss with your doctor if you are over 75, experiencing unexplained bleeding, or have other health concerns.
By providing an accessible and minimally invasive alternative, ColoHealth™ empowers individuals to take an active role in colorectal cancer screening.
*NOTE: ColoHealth is not available to be ordered in either California or New York.
