What does the flat-rate upper endoscopy cover?
Our flat rate includes everything related to the procedure, with no hidden fees. The price covers:
- Physician fees
- Facility or hospital fees
- Sedation or anesthesia costs
- Biopsy collection
- Pathology costs, including all lab and pathologist fees for any biopsies taken during the procedure
What’s not included in the flat rate?
- Consultations: If your provider requires a pre-consultation, it’s included in our flat rate. However, consultations are not typically needed for asymptomatic patients.
- Prep medicine: You’ll need to purchase any necessary preparation medicine separately.
- Follow-up care: Only the procedure itself is covered. Any treatment before or after the procedure is not included.
- Reference pathology or genetic testing: If abnormal tissues are found and further testing is needed, this is not part of the flat rate.
